Coming up next, is the super stylish sofa! Gawd this is so creative..and indeed, creative at the same time. Amazing!  This thing could look like one enermous deco, and at the other time could turn to such a cozy sofa. Brilliant idea to save space ;)

Last but not least..the one that I would die to have one in my house..Although not sure how to feed the fish or how to clean the tank. But who really cares? This is just awesome! I always love  bringing the outdoor atmosphere into the room. Haha, and tell ya what, I treasure bath time soooo much xD  I normally spent like, more than one hour to take a shower.. But if I have this thing maybe I will go back to the bathroom every 5 minutes, hahaha..Anyhow that's my fave. Which one is yours? :D

sunflower ring with batik motive style!

I ordered this from a local silver crafter, and this is custom made ;) I give them reference pic I got from the internet and I modify the design here and there, and the crafter give a little bit more Indonesian style look: batik style-flower carved in the side of the ring. Wonderful! Especially when batik (officially admitted by UNESCO as Indonesian  original fabric craft)  is now very popular worldwide  <3

Ah btw, my newest product will be featured in Aperture Indonesia's photosoot! I am now writing the review of my product and will post the pics as soon as I receive the photos from them. Really love to have them as affies! Made it in a rush for the photoshoot, but trust me I used fine materials such as real mineral stones. Wanna see? Please stay tuned ;3

blessed days, blast art

I'm in Jakarta for a holiday, but before I depart I managed a few mins to made this vintage necklace. Made this from my mom's leftover material I found in her warehouse. I really like the flowery motive on the fabric :)

I tried to wear this and it looks fab! XD Really love this vintage style. I found this kinda expensive in malls or big store, so I am happy I can make it myself and don't have to buy them LOL..The beads I use are only leftofers too, even the chain is leftover! So I'm just glad I found the use of this leftover stuffs in my boxes . My bf also loves this one^^

clandestine garden mission: done!

(I call this  "snow princess in the desert" )

finally I managed to finished this project! XD

Still remember the transparent organic leaf art tutorial I gave you? Well in this project the leaves already been colored and turned into a flower! <3

specs: coffee bottle (I use nescafe),  real dragonfly-dried, organic leaf art (flower), clay

bottom part: beach sand (white), selfmade blue snow - made of dried residu of coconut flakes.

well then, here's some clues on my next projects: lots of cat stuff..!  *w* and yeah...I'm gonna sell some, only not by online shop..I got sooo many suggestions to open a shop and maybe I should start with small selling projects :) And my skripsi (thesis) advisor liked my "summer's dusty diary" necklace and she ordered me a set of accesories. She said any design is fine, she only want red stones, and also she don't want me to sell the same design to another person. Well that's no problem to me since I always make one design for one item only. I don't like repeating, it makes me lost my passion and the product could be less artistic...

Well then, see ya later I guess...I'm off to manage the long list of projects..and um..my thesis ^^;

angeling in cage (Ragnarok fan art)

Hey there! After a few days, I made this art, the idea is in a sudden but I hope you'll like it :) Those who played the famous online game Ragnarok must know this very cute character, angeling  *w* it's also a game item in a game so called Pet Society (PS), buta in PS it's a doll, named pink jello.. :D

The deco inside is made from clay, full handmade, not made by special tools coz I don't have one OTL :p But yeah, managed to make one and put it in a cage so it won't run away! >3< I tried to make more details on the wings btw..And oh, this thing have two functions:

1. You can put off the chain easily and put the cage on your table or cupboard as a deco

2. You can also put on the chain and wears it as a necklace, yay! XD

My friends suggested that I should open an online shop..but uhm, still thinking of it  >.<

a drip of vintage stream

Hello! It's been awhile since I didn't post ^^; so sorry, and this time I have no excuses (I better not)..ah but I come back with new work, yay! this one is a clay necklace I just made, I made it with a help of an unused sodabottle cap..These are the stuffs I used to make it:

The blue pack is the clay pack, the little black thing is a piece of clove, I used it to make the pattern in the edge of the design. First I hammer the bottle cap until it's all flat like a coin and cover it with clay. The water color is for coloring the clay, as you see I only use green and red (only use a little so it became pink). The creme color in the pendon is the original color of the clay. Erm, I guess it's too long since I haven't touch clay, it turns out not like what I expected. But oh well, voila! This is the result (sorry for the ugly pic) >.<

And um, I hate making plain chained necklaces all the time so later when I have time to go to the DIY store (it's just far from home >.<) I will manage to buy the plain DIY chain, beads and stuffs to design the chain for this one..Also, need a transparent pylox to make this thing waterproof..(have to buy that too @_@)

Anyway, when it's all done I will post the pic in this post, and I promised a better pic of course  :3

Ahhh and again, before this thing is even really done somebody (this time my sis) already said: "wow, it's cute, can I have this?" All I can say is, "Sis, you serious? that's a FAIL product!" >,<

la petite paris: future art project!

Hello all! I am planning to collect item for my france miniature project! This is a long term plan, that's why I name it project and not a quest [bad in naming, sorry ^^; ]  And I am picking more photos here, just in case I had the time to design and made those for this project...Ah..and if you're questioning why I started another artwork before I even finished my clandestine garden mission, it's because I am still in a quest of one material, besides this "la petite paris" will take more time than the "clandestine garden mission" because well..to be honest I have to collect items first, and I need damn a lot of them >.< But btw of course as it is Paris, I won't forget the eiffel miniature!  (^^)~

So..while collecting photos and editing I am starring at my boyfriend's pic, hihi..afterall Paris is a city of love, right? <3

dion@christmas holiday 08 >3<

As you know Paris is the city of mode, and there are a lot of fancy stuffs, ruffles and all awesomeness in fashion! >3< So here I posted one of my favorite stuff I bought in Taiwan,  not typical Parisian but I am sure in Paris you will find a lot of cute stuffs like this (even this one is typically Asian, like Taiwan/Japan/Korea.) So as it is just cute, I think I am adding something like this to the miniature! :D *wish I could really learn crochet someday, the best crochet I can do now is a flower, lol*

DSC01967

It is my fave cute crochet jewelery box! <3 so cute...Perhaps this is a good inspiration for my future la petite Paris! After I'm done with Paris I am going to make little Venice..oh I am so in love with Venice, I wanna ride love gondola with my bf someday.. ^^ Ah, and here's some game items (Pet Society) that may help me get inspired for the design (credits to Michael Simbolon, thx for the pic!)

So the plan is to make several art items related to Paris (still need a lot of reviews and ideas though). The first one to make is of course, the eiffel miniature!  The original design (the one in the pic) is by zakka handmade though, I am going to make something similar to it, only of course, with my modification and design. I already finished the rough design so in a minute I have to flee to the supremarket to buy some materials.. :3 The eiffel miniature is the smallest pic below, you can see how cute it is compared to the real eiffel :)

Next thing to do:  finish my sketch design so I can post it here!  But I think since I have to do my thesis too, I will post the whole design sketch in the post updates, not in this post, sorry! >.<

*just got back from store* ahhh and the materials I'm supposed to bought are out of stock, I only managed to bought the ice cream stick :(  I will have to wait till this weekend for the stock...I really wish there is a proper DIY store here x___O Erm, so I guess I will have to post the progress work around this weekend (I will work on the sketch and the eiffel miniature first.) :3

clandestine garden mission #1

Yay it's finally weekend! I supposed to wake up late, but my dad wake me up  at 8 a.m >.< coz my parent's are going to my mom's ceremony award...Geez she is beautiful already with her green silk dress and her fave jade bangle I bought her at the moment I get downstairs.  Just to let you know the jade bangle was a special one I bought in Ken Ting National Park, when I was traveling during the spring break with my dorm roommate, Jessie and her sister Latisha <3 Got it with a special discount coz it's off peak season!  >3<

So um, yeah..I woke up lazily and figure out what's my plan for today, coz I don't think I'll do my thesis immediately by today [man, it's weekend!] I plan to do it tonight. So...what I did was just taking a walk to my backyard and find some inspiration [for my mission, of course!] :D

I realize that usually in my previous posts I only put 2-3 pics so now I come up with more photos, yayyy!  \(^w^)/  Okie so I guess now it's time for me to explain what I mean with the word "mission" XD erm, yeah the thing is I am going to mix some of my craft skills into one divine art  :3 Frankly I need a few steps to go there. So here step by step I would also like to share you this :D So first please see the pic below [sorry for the low resolution, I took the photo with my 2 MP camera phone >.< ]

It's much better to see the real ones, coz the leaf structures remains while the chlorofiles are gone. Yeah, it's an organic real leaf, isn't it fascinating? :) And making it is easy, all you need is a little patience coz it generally took 2 weeks if you make it with a natural way.  This is the first part of art I am going to use:  organic leaf art.  Mine is from the leafs I took from my garden!  That's why I said this is a clandestine garden mission <3

Ok for this what you need is :

- a couple of leafs. But remember, not all leafs can be used. I used soursop/dutch jackfruit [Indonesian: sirsak] leaf coz it have strong leaf bones. I don't know any leafs other than that, sorry! >.<

- mud. Yes, mud! But don't use thick muds coz it will make the leaf rot. Usually I use the mud from my fish pod. A little stinky but it's the best mud I know to make the leafs :D

So how to make it? Put the mud into a pail, and make sure those are high enough to dip all of the leafs. Remember, put the leafs in a proper position and don't let it fold. After you dip all the leafs in the pail, close the pail and come back after two weeks. Just like that? Yeah, just like that! >3< After your leafs are done, don't forget to clean and dry them. If you want them colored, after it's dried and ready, dip them into coloring liquid [I use fabric powder color mixed with water] and redry them. Don't use acrylic spray coz the result won't be too nice [I tried that already].

Hmm I guess my mission is revealed now.. :p Yep, it is collecting items from my house, especially my garden. Then simply mixed them with several artwork types I have ^^.  But what design it's going to be? Nah, still secret! XD Okie, next garden item!

The upcoming items are... a twig and a bottle! Ahaha, you may laugh because I really like to collect junks, but you know, it's really fun to turn unused stuffs into something pretty :D  So yeah, the twig is a soft twig I cutoff from my roselle tea plant!  [I got a bit wet coz it was raining, hehe]. Btw the red tea in the 2nd pic is a sample of my fave healthy and yummy roselle tea <3 [Yep I have them in my own garden^^]. I pick that twig becase it had a nice shape and color, also it is soft so it is more flexible to be inserted into the bottle. The bottle itself is my unused shampoo bottle  [coconut&rice by Oriflame], it has a nice shape and moreover, it has a clear view and it's easy to clean :3

Now 3 items are revealed! What next? Hmm since I have a nice strawberry&jelly ice waiting for me..

see ya later at clandestine garden mission #2, more items [including additional art items to combine, and perhaps the design and progress!]  revealed later. Come see what I'm up to!

[PS.  I promise you more recipees]  ^___^
